EU PayPal Withdrawal Card Options

Hi Guys

Can't quite find the answer to this in the forum:

I have a Bulgarian PayPal account. I'm working from a Bulgarian Dedicated IP etc. My question is this: I want to add a Visa card for withdrawal.. does it NEED to be a Bulgarian Visa card or can it be a Visa card from another Eu country?

Definitive guidance would be much appreciated 😁

My account is bulgarian, i am bulgarian and i am using Monese( UK bank card) for withdrawing. I am selling on US market and withdrawing US dollars to Monese which is in british pounds. Hope i helped.

You are right, Monese is very useful for pp you get sort code, acc number, EU IBAN and you have a debit card.
You don't need to be in UK to open an account with them. You need I'D, sometimes they ask for proof of address to lift your limits and get your Monese account fully verified.
The good thing is that you can provide them with a different address for the card delivery. It's work fine for the EU I don't know if it's fine for other countries.

Yes it does work for UK PayPal.
Get the account fully verified as well.

Are they awkward about mis matching names though? I mean PayPal name matching monese account name?

I didn't have any problems withdrawal with mismatched names. To add the bank account to your UK pp account you will need to contact PayPal because in 95% of the cases I had the PayPal system didn't accept it automatically.

I have a problem with monese uk account, I can't link the bank account to paypal, anybody has this problem too? monese don't work on uk paypal or is same for all countries?

Call PayPal. Ask them you would like to add your bank account. They should be able to do it for you within a matter of minutes.

Did you try adding bank via the paypal automated phone system, sometimes that works when you cannot add a bank from within your pp account?

US PayPal only accepts US bank Accounts and or Bank Accounts that provide Routing/Account Numbers.
