ebay 90 day limit for new sellers not lifted

Hi I'm listing items in the software category on ebay uk.

With my other stealth account the new seller category limits disappeared after 90 days but i have been selling on ebay UK since March of this year and I am still limited to 3 items in the software categories per month.

Do you know how long it will take to get this lifted? If there anything I can do to speed it up?

Thanks

Best off contacting customer support, ideally via online chat service. If you get through to someone nice they should be able to remove that category limit. Explain it's been over 90 days...

Not all accounts are created equal. Best to create more than 2-3, 10 accounts is ideal.

If you need an increase in this specific manner you most likely will have to contact ebay for an increase.

I would also open multiple accounts.

The pre requisites outlined by ebay are always 'minimum requirements'. There are never any guarantees that once you meet certain criteria that you will automatically be entitled. Furthermore any limitations lifted can be placed back on at any moment for any reason.

Hi thanks for your replies up until now I have never contacted ebay to request an increase as I was always told this is a bad idea as it draws attention to you.

But I guess in these circumstances I don't have a lot to loose to give it a try right?

Thanks

If this is your main item then youre right.
Just be sure to call from the registered number you have with ebay and to have all the relevant info for the account in front of you in case they ask for verification of some sort. It shouldn't be an overly complicated call.
Good luck.

Hi guys thanks for your advice I appreciate it. I always thought asking them for an increase was always a strictly advised against on here but I guess I dont have much choice.

I make myself the software products I sell. If they ask where I get the items from should I admit I make them myself or is that a red flag to them?

There is no copyright infringement or anything like that to worry about as all material is either made by me or copyright free
