Is it safe for using four static IPs running four stealth accounts?

Just requested four static IPs from my network provider TalkTalk, one for each stealth account.
Not quite sure is it safe or not?
Any hidden threatening?
Much appreciated if received any suggestions or guidance.:uk:

Hi, welcome to the forum!!

Having a unique static IP for each account is a good approach but... also all the other stealth rules must be observed in order to keep accouts separated.

Stealth guide is a good starting point and an interesting reading :thumb:

hmm... I've never heard of this before, residential ISPs giving more than 1 static IP. How do you switch between the IPs?

A static for each account is fine. But just make sure you *never* accidentally or willingly use the wrong IP for the wrong account as that would be a strong link right away (since these are dedicated/static IPs).

What I newly replied is a business account and they offer multi IP packages. Thanks for the advice.

Keep in mind that you will likely get sequential ips which is not ideal, meaning your ISP will give you ips that look very similar and only difference is the very last number

100.10.10.1
100.10.10.2
100.10.10.3
100.10.10.4

Seems I'd better cancel this package. So do you think it is better idea to restart router after using single account? I got three stealth accounts at the moment. The IP changes every time when I restart the router.
Thanks.

Restarting router is one option or, if you want to stick with dedicated IP, VPN is the way to go.

You have to chose a reliable service and costs money. Have a look in the marketplace you can find VPN providers.

Just want to make sure that it is for sure not safe for using sequential IPs for dedicated account?
I always took it safe even if only one different single number in each IP...

Hard to be sure this is 100% safe or not safe.

Let's put it in this way, evaluate how much you want to risk. A manual review of your accounts might spot that only digit as a possible link.... or not.

As far my experience here on the forum is concerned, IP only, is not enough to provide a strong link between accounts but wait for some other member to chime into the discussion and give you more infos.

Re: Is it safe for using four static IPs running four stealth accounts?

You can use 4 different statics and be safe. Just make sure NOTHING ELSE matches. Use different user accounts, browsers etc. Try not to log off of one and then immediately log on to another and then another each night.
Also. Try not to list the same items or even same item category in the accounts. They can manually link you that way. Like dont seller blenders in all four accounts.

The same thing can happen even if you turn off your router and get a new IP. Eventually, youre gonna get the same IP for one of the other accounts. Not enough to link you but if other things link you like time you log on, items youre selling, etc.

Ip alone is not enough to link you in my experience.

Aslong as everything else is unique following all stealth rules it should not matter about a similar ip.

And remember, linking only becomes an issue when one account goes bad. Keep the accounts in good standing and you won't have any issues.

Just turn your router off and on between changing from one account to the next. static IP's cost money....flicking a switch is free
