Hi what is a good number in revenue a month ? lets forget profit for a while ,

lets says you are selling on average an item for 10 to 20 pounds , and you are turning over 10,000-12,000 a month , would you consider that an ok turnover ?

selling between 600-900 items a month

It's subjective. If this is your first business and you haven't been selling for long then you're doing quite well. But there's always going to be growth potential. More inventory, more sales, more profits = growth. You could literally increase your turnover tenfold if you wanted to put in the time and effort.

You cant forget about profit though. That factors directly into how many items you plan on selling per month.
Also depends on you personally and what you find acceptable in terms of monthly income.
I hope these sales youre referring to are being spread across multiple accounts and not being done via one single account. Never put all your eggs in one basket and always be sure to have several backup accounts ready.

I have multiple accounts, however I have my main account, doing what i do oer many accounts wouldnt work.

My margins are good , my wholesale costs are low , so profit at months end is around 60% of total sales.

I am growing, and am moving to a bigger warehouse soon .

Just need to make sure that i dont lose the account , as its 200000 items or 2.4 million a month .

Would like to get it to around 50-60 k a month, however thats heavy investment , so has to be done incrementally .

Also have a member of staff now, which makes the world of difference.

Sounds pretty decent OP - if it supports your lifestyle as well

Nice my profit rate is only about 30%
