2 wks Pending review for EU limitation should I call?
 

Been two weeks since I sent the doc and account still pending EU limit review.

The notification from their end and email kept saying to send doc to remove limit and whenever I visited the link to send doc again, I saw the same message of we will get back to you within 2-3days.

I wrote to them and got the default automated -FAQ messages with option to reply to message if I need more help which I did.

I continue to make sale on the ebay account but I have decided I am not dispatching them until paypal is reviewed. I have another 3 days for the dispatch time on the sales since limited and I am worried.

How do you deal with this? Its a stealth, should I call PayPal or continue to wait until when?

It's pointless emailing them all you will get is a generic response. Everyone seems to be in the same boat with reviews at the moment. You could call as it wont do any harm but I doubt it would actually speed up the process.

Are they stealth docs or genuine that you've sent?

First thing you need to do is dispatch those outstanding orders ASAP (or cancel them if they're high value) as this will just cause you more issues down the line.

If you are confident your docs will be accepted then just scale back sales and open a new stealth account to push sales onto there. If you're not confident in your docs then cancel all unshipped orders and focus on two new stealths.

It's pretty common for the review to take longer this time of year as there are more people selling. I had the same problem last year, took about a month in the end before the review was done.

The time it takes for PayPal to remove the restrictions on the account varies based on how much you have received in the PayPal account.

Under £1650 - Can take up to a month.
Between £1650 and £2100 - Can take up to 2 weeks.
Over £2100 - Usually 24 hours, but can take up to a week.

It also depends on time of year - peak periods usually take longer. It could take several months during the worst of times.

From a past scenario, contacting PayPal on the telephone will allow their lovely Irish agents to forward your documents directly to the Account Specialist team. I received a response within 6 hours after the phone call, but this was in October 16.

This doesn't skip the queue however, it merely ensures that your documents have actually reached them, as sometimes the automated system can fail.

In addition, if the documents are stealth and do not satisfy the documentation verification, they will often hold it for further review until a final conclusion is reached.

in UK ebay you can use online chat, that's how i increase my limits

By calling them increase fail rate for some reason maybe some experience user can explain

I had same issue. I was waiting more then 2 weeks and called paypal yesterday then got result within 1 hour.You can call them and explain you waited too long for review then they will sort it out very soon.

They don't want to do business with me they said. Wait 180 days for withdrawal of final balance. I haven't log back in ebay/paypal since them. Moved on and replace the single account with a double one.

Life goes on.

Sorry to hear that however were your docs genuine or stealth??
