90 day old PayPal - 21 day hold on all sales...
 

Hi,

So I have 3 of my PayPal's now with 21-day holds on ALL payments for 60 days...have a notification in PayPal that says because I am a new seller with no history all payments received will be placed on hold for 21 days?

The accounts this has happened too are all 90 day + and were working absolutely fine. There were no cases or complaints? A couple of refunds for transit damaged items but that is all...

Selling patterns have not changed either...cannot get my head around it? Has anyone else had same issues?

I am UK based, the PayPals are all UK based but I sell on eBay.com.

I must add that I upload all tracking information within 24 hours of payment received too.

yeah mate, just got an email from Paypal saying the same.

Proving a real nightmare as no funds at all are released to cover postage, usually the money is released into available 2 days after delivery confirmation but this is no use as it takes 7-10 days to arrive in the US usually.

All im asking is there any advice on how to avoid this happening with the three accounts I have left that are running fine.

Do you think the account will return to normal after the 60-days is up?

Just comply and remember nothing guaranteed with Gaypal...

Just had the same happen randomly out of the blue on one of my accounts as well - Got to wait 60 days from the date of the email even tho I have been selling for nearly 3 months fine.

The only thing I can think that's triggered it is a couple of international payments I have received - Perhaps not selling internationally on your other account might help stop them having the same fate
