paypal item not recieved case
 

hi gues, buy bought something off me 4 weeks ago to ship to italy.

royal mail tracking shows its been delivered (without signature) as well as italian postal site shows its been delivered.

last week he opens an item not recieved case even though tracking shows its been delivered saying that he hasnt recieved it, and that either the postman nicked his parcel or it got delivered to someone else.

i print royal mail postage through paypal, so there is a record of me buying the postage for the parcel on paypal, however i do not have a postage reciept for this, and paypal are asking me to give this to them in the case.

what should i do?
will the postage label that i bought from paypal and printed off be enough? or does it have to be a postage receipt?
the tracking clearley shows it was delivered to buyers address.

Provide them that postage invoice you paid to royal mail
All they need to know it's shipped on right address

do you mean the paypal postage label which i print out and attach to the parcel?

No check your PayPal account, you should have transaction for the postage amount you paid to royalmail

yes there is transaction in the paypal, but do i take a screenshot of it or something?

when you print the paypal postage label print a copy to a pdf file for your own records. however the label does not show proof of the day you posted it. the post office that took the parcel will give you a certificate of posting. If it was recorded delivery the tracking number when entered on the royal mail website show the day it was posted.

ive misplaced the certificate fo posting, is this still a problem? i cant give this to paypal.

my tracking shows the item was delivered to the address on the paypal, i dont see how the buyer can get away with this.

Italy has quite a bad reputation for parcels going missing and I see lots of sellers on Ebay refusing to ship there. If you cant provide proof of postage as requested then PayPal will find in the buyers favour (and tbh I think even if you provide it they will, and expect you to make the claim from RM)

You said tracking shows delivered - so you have tracking number, this is all you need. Add it to any case that the buyer makes and you have a good chance of winning.....

yeh, it was bought and paid for via paypal. Tracking is automatically added to the transaction details.

tracking shows delivered as well, when tracked on both origin and destination postal sites.
