Do as James is saying above. The method you are reading I posted several years ago and it is no longer necessary to do that.

No need IMO to add and remove and add again.

Great info provided. However @JamesNorth101 i am a bit confused. Kindly guide me here.

I am a bit confused. You talked about two limits. 1 is EU receiving limit that is around GBP 1650 year. However on the other hand you said we can do sell upto GBP 7000 a month. If we will receive that kind of amount in our paypal it will get limited because 1650 threshold will be broken? Is that right

Secondly can you guide is it a good idea for me to create Stealth UK account although i cant get a real UK bank account

JamesNorth101 10-15-2018 04:32 PM

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

They are 2 different points

You can sell upto £1650 and then PayPal will hit you with an ID check. Assuming you pass that you then want to try to avoid selling over £7000 a month to avoid eBay hitting you with a VAT request

You can run a UK stealth account without a UK bank account, but cashing out does become a bit harder so you need to put to time into thinking how to overcome that

Which counties PayPal are you using?

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Lithuania, all information is my friend.

JamesNorth101 10-17-2018 06:17 PM

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

So your running a Lithuanian PayPal and your looking to add in a UK bank account using the IBAN is that right? You and then withdrawing the Euros and paying to change it into £? Or are you adding in a Euro bank account and withdrawing directly into Euros?

mexi 10-17-2018 06:27 PM

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Yes, is it right. I am looking trustworthy IBAN or Card which one I can link with PayPal.I get money in my PayPal £ and withdrawing directly into Euros.

JamesNorth101 10-17-2018 07:33 PM

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

So what is wrong with the one you are already using? It sound like that is exactly what your already doing

mexi 10-18-2018 05:11 AM

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Example: I 'll send 1600GBP to the bank and get 1760Euro, this Euro again I convert to GBP and get 1550GBP

Would changing the Surname on an account on Ebay and Paypal cause any issues? It's an account in a females name.

So just add an account that is £ in that case

I have never tried adding a UK account directly to an EU PayPal so I am not sure how easy it is

If you are based in the UK though, why are you not just using a UK PayPal? It seems like your making it more complicated than needed really

That is usually fine to do, but they will ask for documents from you

Yes, I need the account in £, but don't know bank which one I can link with EU PP.

I am at Lithuania at this moment, and I create PayPal here, I am a beginner so didn't know PayPal is different UK and EU.

I am not sure which banks will let you link in in the way that you want.

I haven't seen any information on the forum RE this before, so it may just be a case of trial and error

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

eBay usually you just change the details on and they wont ask for anything

PayPal will ask for documents.

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Hi, I have some questions.
1) Can I log in to bank account related to ebay account on 'burned' IP?
Or simply do I need to be worried about IP only when I logging into Ebay and paypal and could be using any IP I want for bank ?
2) is it OK to log in to eBay account on any different IP, or should I keep to only one dedicated IP(burger) all the time?
3)is it safe to use dropshipping software like '' hustle got real '' or website like terapeak and log it on them with stealth eBay acc details?
5) I still don't get it how to deal with returns, can't I just get return label from ebay? If its business account I have to put working return address right? What if I will put my real name and address? or my altered name and right building address with different flat number? Can I use any address that I'll be able to get package from?
4) for tax purposes should I transfer all money (income profit) from for example 4bank accounts I using for stealth accounts to one account? Will it be easier for accountant? Or is it OK to have few accounts.
5)i don't understand what I can use vcc for? Is it for top up PayPal account?

I will appreciate if you could help me dispel the doubts. Thanks in advance

JamesNorth101 10-23-2018 04:28 PM

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

1 - You can log into your bank accounts using any IP you want :). You only need to worry about IPs when your using eBay or PayPal

2 - Best to stick to a dedicated IP if you can

3 - Terapeak is fine. Not used any others

5 (I this this is mean to be 4) - Lots of solutions. Easiest it to add an address you have access to for automated returns.

5 - If you want to. Best to talk to an accountant though

6 - Its for making the PP a bit stronger

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Hi all,

I wonder what everyone thinks of this and if it would work.

I legally change my name and get a new passport, change address new, utility bill in new name and new address, new internet provider, new totally clean computer Do you think this would work quite well for both eBay and PayPal.

I also have a load of stock from a previous idea so would start telling that before I move onto what I used to sell. Its all very low value stuff.

The only connection I can see would be date of birth but I already know one person with the same and there were a few at school.

That way I would have clean documents from any ID checks, I can even change one of my banks to the new name so that would even match.

Thanks for this thread as well, its already got me feeling happy!

Merry Christmas
Saul

That’s kinda OTT and not needed to get back into eBay

At lest you have put some thought into though :)

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Thanks for the fast reply, I am kind off OCD and cant stand that worry. Do you think it would be pretty safe though.

The last one I did I used all stealth names etc and a but real passport to lift the EU limits. But that did work for 2 years and only was banned because of me, rather than them finding out it was a stealth account.

If I did all the change name new passport stuff do you reckon it would quite safe. I suppose I am a completely new person that just moved into a house and set up.

I want a new name anyway as it's a fresh start, not just with eBay.

Checking back through old emails, eBay did on the last oaccount restrict it very fast and asked for a passport and utility bill as well and a selfie of holding the passport. If its all new I imagine that would trick them as well as PayPal later on

apparently a new passport has a new number as well.

Cheers again
Saul

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Really if you want to be as safe as possible then you want to get a few accounts going

Otherwise if you get limited this time next year your back to square 1 again. The real key is to spread the risk

If your a U.K. resident even if you are overseas you can usually open a U.K. bank account with an issue

RE the EU limitations, just PM and U.K. seller and they can help

Hi James, regarding regerstration/returns address on an eBay business account, how would I deal with this if I have no access to another address other then my own?

Also can you explain why I need to open more than one bank account (or ten!?)

Thanks.

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

If your happy to not get returns then a return address isnt needed. If you do want to get returns and you only have your own address, then you can try an address variation of your own address added into the return section of eBay but it will always come with a risk.

RE bank accounts. You would need 1 new bank account per new PayPal for withdrawals :)

Okay thanks, Regarding returns I would not really need to receive returns as I’d be happy just to refund, I assume a stealth eBay account uses a fictitious business registration address also? Feel free to pm me if you don’t want to answer here. Thanks again.
