Paypal limited, do i need the phone # in 6 month?

my paypals been limited for 6 months... bought an account off of a seller on here, should i get the sim card off of him?

Its always a good idea to have the phone number to hand.

In 6 months, you might need to confirm the number when logging in, or withdrawing money etc.

You could ask, but if you have had the account for a while I doubt the seller would keep the sim for any length of time.
You shouldn't need it to withdraw after 180 days though mate.

There is always a possibility that the SIM could have expired as well as we don't load funds on to them.

I have never needed the number to withdraw after the 180 days, That may change but I think you will be alright in regards to the phone number.
