I've listed my 10 items for the month now. Should I leave it and wait for eBay to increase the limits or should I contact them to ask them to increase them? If so by chat?

Some people have had luck by calling in to ask for an increase. Just have your info ready infront of you.

I never called in and just let things go up on its own myself.

Chat can work for eBay UK for limit increase sometimes. Not always, but its worth a go

Chat definitely works most times. Just have a good story on what your selling and why you need the increase.
