Hi guys I have a top rated seller account that is 5 years old and in excellent standing. For some reason the selling allowances have never increased above 90 items per month. On my other stealth account the allowances have simply automatically increased as time has gone on.
I am wondering if it's time to risk requesting a higher selling allowance and if so how should I deal with the phone call?
Prehaps there is an approved seller on this forum that I can pay to make the phone call for me?
Or maybe I should just leave it and not try to go above 90 items. Having recently lost my job I want to try and squeeze as much money out of ebay as I possibly can so I don't go broke and for a long time I have been frustrated with the 90 item limit.
Thanks for your advice.

Ok thanks I didn't know it could be done on Chat I thought you had to call.
Any tips of what to say? I sell open sourced software that has step by step guides and technical support included. The software is burned onto a disk then posted.
I guess I should just tell them straight what I do.
I don't think being honest would hurt in this case. Usually when you request higher limits they ask basic question like "are you filling the orders yourself?", "do you keep your own stock?", "do you plan to grow more in the future?".
In my experience it's easy, and we don't even have eBay chat here. We have to call in.
I can't seem to find chat anymore. Any direct links to ebay chat?
You can always call in. But I'd only ever request higher limits if you've got extremely low limits. Otherwise open another account, and spreads sales over more accounts. That way you're not putting all your eggs in one basket.

Call and speak to someone. Choose a different option, so you bypass the automated system.
This is another reason why its important to use higher limit accounts. Any serious seller will hit the 10 limit very quickly on eBay. By using higher limit accounts, you don't need to use all the limit, but at least you don't have that ceiling as you grow.

Indeed but this is just one of the accounts. I bought one recently and made 2 myself. Combination of made and bought accounts to spread the sales out
How the heck can some people manage to get Ebay chat and others can't?
I believe they recently disabled it on eBay UK. That's why it may seem some people can, but as of right now I don't think they can. It's most likely temporary though.
