Did they find out Proof of identity was not real? Or they just did not accept and want another one?

Thank you for your email dated 31 October 2018 received in PayPal’s Executive Escalation regarding the funds held in your balance after 180 days.
Ms ******, after reviewing your PayPal account I could see that we informed you on 22 January 2018 that we decided to close your account permanently due to the risk involved in doing business with you (case number PP-006-573-*****) In addition, we advised you that the funds in your balance would be held for up to 180 days.
Although that I understand that the 180 days have passed, following a review on 02 August 2018 another limitation was placed in your account where we requested a valid proof of identity and address, case number PP-006-630-*****. Unfortunately, the proof of identity we received is not valid. Please, forward a new proof of identity in order to release the funds from your PayPal balance.
What is a valid proof of identity?
We accept a copy of:
- Your ID card
- Your driving licence (the plastic card, not the official letter)
- Your Passport
- Other photo ID that was issued by a government body. |
