Should I call up to ask to increase limit

I have had new account for 2 weeks and already completed the 10 sales.

Should I call up to increase as it's a busy time or should I be patient?

You can if you want

They will usually ask you a few questions on the phone so make sure you have all stealth details to hand

I myself prefer to let the limits grow naturally. They should go up on their on son enough.
If youre smooth enough on the phone and you get a bit lucky you can call in but know that every such call involves an amount of risk.

Another option is to use their chat to request a limit. Less risky than a phone call for a stealth account.

I used to do this but can never find the chat option when I log on in the evening

It’s gone for quite a few accounts

Do it. You'll have no issues with UK accounts. Very easy to increase limits.

Last time I called on a new account they wouldn't raise my limit until 30 days after first sale.

30 days after the first sale is about right. I did get a rep to give me an increase after 28 days though after answering a few questions about my inventory and shipping.

I was also told that the 21 day holds would come off after 90 days.

I used the live chat option to increase mine, although its a pain to find on the site! Best to google it.

I called them up last night and increased it.

I always act like a small seller but they always bump up to 100 items for 3.5k

Oh nice, what were they asking and what you did you say?

Well I played a bit dumb and asked for the quantity to raise and not the amount as I had sold the 10 items totaling £300 (which is true) they asked what I sold (I said books, but I had a few spare electronics laying around so that is why they are listed) they asked if I got from a supplier (I said yes) and that was that.

I played like an innocent small time seller, I was not rude etc and they passed
