New user, bought stealth, 1st account live !

Hi All,
I bought the stealth guide last night so I can get back on eBay as a seller.

I got banished for life many years ago due to an impatient buyer in Australia!

Anyway, I’m looking for some advice from someone wise in the UK re my first account, created last night...

Since being banned 9 years ago, I have moved address and changed bank, so all details are new

What I did:
Complete new user on MacBook
New Gmail address for user.
Created new eBay account in name similar to mine with address very close to mine, just left a couple of lines of address out....
Created new paypal account in similar name, and linked my actual bank account.
All of this was done whilst using VPN (iPVanish) through their London VPN.

After all was created, I just browsed the eBay FAQ pages as a noob would do !

I just am a bit paranoid, and feel it’s all a bit shady, but am just looking to start selling an honest product again ! :-) and it’s the only way, as we all know, eBay don’t listen to reason :-(
So, my question is, did I do everything correctly?
Can I repeat all these steps to create more accounts, provided I open more bank accounts, with new PayPal’s on each etc?

What are “safe items” to sell, just any old junk, low value items I have lying around?

To be honest if you got banned years ago and have moved address since, you would have been fine creating a entirely new accounts in your real details. The address you use must be a real address, don't use a phake address.

I would not use IPvanish. Look in to a dongle or go for a proven VPN for stealth like IPBurger.

A safe item is anything low risk (unbranded, or low end brands) low value items. Stay away from electronics and easily counterfeited items.

Read the stealth guide. Thats a good place to start if you're being paranoid, it will be put your mind at ease.

I would use a different VPN

IPVanish isnt very good quality

Make sure that if its not a dedicated Vpn they just give you a random IP everytime you connect and someone else might use the same IP like you. In that case your account will be in trouble. Many vpn provider sells dedicated IPs as add on. You could use the 2 solid services which are IPBurger or 24vc. Tested and proven.

Thanks for the replies all, interesting that I could have just used my real details as I’ve been off eBay so long, changed address and bank !
I guess I can just repeat what I’ve already done, using my real details but a different bank account (another new basic account in my name should be ok), and create another new user on the MacBook, new eBay, new gmail, new bank a/c ......

I do have the stealth guide, and read it last night, so will re-read.
It seems more US specific though, and is a little vague in areas, hence the questions to you guys.

I’ll look into changing my VPN also, from iPVanish over to IPBurger, thanks for that.

You should probably prioritize the VPN switch since using an abused IP address can get your account shut down before you even get any sales. If you aren't in a position financially to make the switch right now, I recommend at least going to whoer.net to make sure your IP isn't blacklisted.

24vc.com and IPburger.com are the two VPN providers specifically designed for stealth account usage.

I’ve ditched the iPVanish, and now have a working dedicated VPN from IPBurger.

All this seems complicated to a noob like me, well, noob to this stealth game, but I guess it’ll get easier, the more of it you do!

Now fully operational with a non blacklist VPN, and an email from PayPal to say all account withdrawal limits are lifted.

I guess I just take it slow and steady now, selling on the bay!
