| | | indielad1010 | 03-29-2019 09:38 AM | Re: eBay new accounts suspension I got ID requests when I foolishly tried to creat a stealth account on a public library computer 6 years ago, so it suggests it's an IP number ebay doesn't like. USing dongles is variable for IP new addresses, some just seem to keep repeating the same 5 or 6 ip numbers. |
| indielad1010 | 03-29-2019 09:41 AM | Re: eBay new accounts suspension try buying a dongle and switching on and off and then check on google the ip address to see if it's throwing out different ips each time |
| StealthHarry | 03-29-2019 01:53 PM | Re: eBay new accounts suspension In all honesty I’ve been using Three dongle for about 3 years
And all my stealths have previously been successful, I don’t know what’s happening now |
| StealthHarry | 05-18-2019 04:38 AM | Re: eBay new accounts suspension UPDATE =
4 accounts have been reinstated since this post
There was nothing at all wrong in my method as all my normal accounts are up and running as per usual
However, eBay has added extra security and bots - there’s a few posts on this topic now
All these hot shots got upset and defensive for obviously there business purposes
Fact of the matter is it’s not a walk in the park anymore in making accounts and flogging them |

Hello all, I’ve purchased about 6 fresh stealth accounts from a reputable seller away from Aspkin, I’ve used this guy for about 3 years in purchasing a total of 15 or so accounts, of all have been successful
Excluding the ones I have purchased now, I’ve done the standard procedure as always - build cookies watch items for about 2/3 weeks
For one account even as I was viewing and building cookies, boom suspension
And for all the rest it was suspension soon after listing a used / unbranded household item
The strange part is this is normal some what as eBay need verification
However, now they are asking for proof of ID and proof of address straight away without listing or even listing unbranded low risk items
It’s a disaster to say the least, seriously feels like they’re cracking down on us stealthiers
During my previous years it was nothing at all like this - my current set up is roughly 10 accounts on 4 different computers with dongles
I don’t think there is a flaw in my set up as I space the use of these account 2 at once about 3/4x a day, waiting a hour or so to be extra careful that IPs are changed
So Yh any help on this, is any one else facing the same problem
Fortunately the company I’m purchasing of are quite fair and reasonable so they should replace these accounts
But it’s become quite wild west on eBay to say the least
Awaiting your guys input, thank you all | Sorry to hear that,
Stealth will always come to an end, you need focus on something eles on the side. One day your flying high next day rock bottom!! |
| james_112233 | 05-18-2019 06:10 AM | Re: eBay new accounts suspension The ebay suspension isn't difficult to sort out.
It's the EU Verification with paypal. What are you doing with you 10+ accounts in regards to that ? have you got 10 bank accounts assigned to those paypals and have you passed the eu verification on all 10 ? |
| dbhana121 | 05-19-2019 09:03 AM | Re: eBay new accounts suspension I can confirm that this has now happened to me on 2 accounts, after listing low risk items.
One account requested proof of ID and address, other account just got completely limited with no reasons. I did keep asking why, but they said 'we cannot due to safety, and telling you would allow people to circumvent the site' or something like that.
What is happening? I built cookies on these accounts as my normal procedure, and run different IP's. My setup has been correctly working with all my other accounts, just these new ones are suspended. |
Re: eBay new accounts suspension I CAN CONFIRM THAT AS WELL
its been happening alot now from the last week not sure whats the reason today 4 of my accounts got burned |

OP can you post your exact routine including how you track IPs?
What is your reason for running 10 accounts on 4, instead of 1 computer?
Are all dongles from the same or different provider?
If you have more than one dongle from the same provider, do you synchronize your IPs? Quote:

A lot of the times though I see new 2019 accounts selling branded vero funky goods and going strong by doing so
Guess it’s luck
Thank you everyone for your input, greatly appreciated | Luck? Perhaps not. Preparedness? More likely. |

I don’t think there gonna release that money as it’s been 180 days | I've noticed eBay clamping down maybe since Jan/February this year with suspensions.
I have spoken to some South East Asian Reps on the phone, their great they tell you stuff they shouldn't like quote ''we need to verify this account to make sure it wasn't made by a bot or something'' They have also mentioned their using pattering and about accounts being linked etc.
Lot harder than it used to be even with low risk items, Just need to up our game when making/running the accounts like with Amazon.
Right now i'd put suspension rate on new acc's at 20-30% with taking extra measures. Re-in statements can be 75% or so.
ID request is just variance, you dealing with a tiny sample. |

Just 1 more now | Congrats. Did you phone in to get them to check, or just waited for a response?
And tbh it is all luck as to which accounts become strong, out of every 6 accounts, im lucky for 1 to pass.
Im selling in a high risk category. |
| Bradd | 05-24-2019 03:54 PM | Re: eBay new accounts suspension I seem to be relatively ok with Ebay ..At the moment paypal is more of a problem with suspensions |
| StealthHarry | 05-24-2019 11:39 PM | Re: eBay new accounts suspension Submitted to eBay
Waited a few days
Contacted them via live chat
I’m getting bored of eBay now though, easy money gets boring after a while - though I’m grateful and humble
It’s just tiring to do the same thing day in and day out for years
Where’s the world heading to next besides eBay lol |
