If he never lets flash in ever, then ebay/pp won't get uppity about it. The bots will assume he doesn't have a flash interpreter installed. If he lets it in, then deletes it, lets it in, deletes it etc etc etc.... That's a bad thing.
I block it. Always. Never a problem. My brother goes back and forth. Has problems.
So, block it always or let it in and keep it. Don't alternate.
BetterPrivacy plugin DOES cover flash. Covers regular cookies and is the only thing that reliably handles DOM. BetterPrivacy is *THE* method of choice, hands down.
The Adobe global settings manager is run by - guess who(?) - Adobe. Those are the people who created the problem. Do you really trust their site to truly let you fix it? You can use it as a one time cleaner, but the settings it CLAIMS are permanent changes aren't permanent at all. Your flash comes back.
Use the global manager. Then use BetterPrivacy. Then install the flashblock plugin. And forget about it forever. Or keep playing with it over and over. |
