add bank acc to paypal

Hello
i have a really good paypal acc (got already over 20k on it) on a non existing person.
the bank acc which was linked to it was closed and i tryed to link a new one and they wanted to verify phone.
the phone doesnt work for a while so i removed it and tryed to add a new one.
since then they do not let me update my bankaccount.

i think it is because the new phone was added recently. I do not want to call them to not **** the paypal.

when will they consider the new phone as "safe"

also it is not a mobile phone. it is a landline number. will they do a robot call instead of sending a message?

Removing a phone number completely and adding a new one triggers security flags, especially with the account balance you mentioned.

You’ll need to now take your time while these flags clear. Give it a week just logging into the account daily and then try to verify the new number.

Then wait another week just logging in before adding the new bank account. At this point I wouldn’t try to remove the old one.

I would say it would be another 2 weeks at least from that point that you can start to withdraw and only small amounts to begin with.

Because of the accounts balance and that you need to change the phone and bank you need to treat this like walking on egg shells.

thank you for your reply jas. i have no option to verify that phone. could it be because it is a landline? also do you have a reference for the timeframes you mentioned or was it just a guess? (those 2 weeks)

Timeframe reference is just from experience but if you can go slower than that then it’s better.

If you keep trying it the security flags won’t get chance to clear

the 20k is not the acc ballance. it is the total amount i got already on that paypal. right now it is less than 1k. but thank for your help i guess i try in 3 weeks again
