Small victory over paypal
Paypal limited one of my accounts with around £800 in last year. Luckily about £350 had not shipped. I tried to refund the buyers but paypal would not let me. So i contacted them and told them what happened and they will need to open a case, i'll comply via ebay to try to hurry their refunds. Anyway some were ok some wasn't .. mainly because even after ebay 'refunded' them paypal never, they then had to open cases on paypal and eventually got their money back. Pretty bad experience from a buyers point of view! But i wasn't sending £350 of good when i couldn't access the account.
Anyway when they was refunded i had £450 in my available(couldn't touch it because of limitation) but the refunded money remained visible in unavailable money. Over the 6 months the £450 was released.
After 6 months the £350 was still unavailable so i give paypal a call and said am i going to get that money? "Send in your passport to prove ID. I did, £350 now in my bank.
Thank you paypal I will consider this interest for all the money you hold.
Morale of the story if paypal have caused you business losses and you find yourself in a similar lucky situation, claim your interest. |
