Default Brexit

Seeing as next week is the deadline we may have no deal.

Anyone any thoughts on how this will affect imports and ebay sales? If the pound tanks everything will cost us more, will you increase prices?

well,
first let's see if this "break exit" will really happen and take effect....
still seems to be a complex equation to be solved...

Sadly, this won't happen, its likely to fall massively while we rebuild our economy. Eventually, if done right, it will rally much higher, but it will take around 5-10 years for this to happen, again, if done right. So no one will be reducing prices or even debating do it.

If Brexit happened without a deal it would affect everything who uses PayPal or sends anything outside of Britain (I send about 50 orders a week to Eruope) How we would be affected?, we don't know yet. Thats half the issue with the bunch of plumbs in Parliament.

The Chinese will still manage to be cheaper

I had a little compeition with a Chinese seller who basically copies my listings and whenever I make a price adjustment, he/she will follow within thirty minutes. The Chinese mega accounts have 'staff' that operate them, some 24/7.

I got them down to 1p inc postage. They sold hundreds, must have cost them a fortune till their boss realised.

It won't, sheerly because there is no major infrastructure in place on building our new standalone economy - we have a huge housing crisis, a benefit system that is murdering people, large corporations pulling out of the UK in knee jerk reactions, Mcjobs with zero hour contracts, way to many foreign works working for nothing, its going to be tough for a few years. All of this needs to settle, and the ground work put in to rebuilding it all , housing projects, trade deals etc. As we have seen, we can't even get Brexit done in 3 years...rebuilding a country after the aftermath with this shower of nobscratches? (from ALL parties) I dread to think.

Might have been a software/bot they setup. Not uncommon.

If you read my post i said we may have no deal this week, obviously every man and his dog knew this wouldnt happen, even you!!!

I dont order from Europe but all my deleiveries come through europe so woulda no deal impact this? The £ is down against the $ over the last 3 years so it affected your prices importing from anywhere.

My point is noone knows what the **** is going to happen but have you thought about how it may affect your business?
