Vanilla not working all of a sudden ?

"Please try again later" is what I keep seeing on paypal.

Been trying at various times for 36 hours now.

I just made a fresh set up last week with a brand new vanilla visa which is working fine so I don't know whats happening today ? Any one else having issues ?

You'd have to go to a supermarket to purchase it. Sainsburys, Morrisons and Wilkinson are the only places i can think of at the moment.

Vanilla cannot be reloaded.

Ok, just tried again and it worked.

So nearly 48 hours later. Their card verifying system must have been down.

Can't confirm. But you have to register the vanilla cards before use which is when you simply register it with your stealth details so that it works.

The credit in the vanilla visa can be used towards ebay purchases, paying fees. If the account gets burnt for whatever reason before you spend it you can then just spend the credit buying your groceries ... win/win.

The Vanilla gift cards I have used do have AVS so you do need to regster them with your stealth details. I don't know how the US system works but here in the UK it checks the house number and the digits of the postcode only. If your house only has a name then it is just the digits that are checked.

I have a real bricks and mortar shop and have a card machine with the ability of taking telephone orders and have had this confirmed with the card processor.
