Default Uk banks for paypal

I went into my bank today (Alliance) to see about their basic account, need proof id and address, they send form away i get new bank account in 7-10days

the good thing is they dont do a credit check for these accounts, so you can go into any uk bank ask for a basic account, use for paypal as they accept dd, close if you lose ur ebay account and reopen another to start again

every bank in the uk offers a basic account but you have to go into the bank to open it you cannot open online

Correct. It has always been the case that going into a High Street bank and opening the account in person gives this result. With some banks doing this allows accounts to be made online later. All these accounts have no credit check and are suitable for paypal usage.
These users running around looking for 'online' banks are taking short-cuts and in some cases paying for a short cut.
Good work there.

Try the only banks that tend to allow easy open extra accounts (once youve send your ID in for first) - the internet based ones.... I havent come across any Id class as sub-accounts though, I think each account is taken in to consideration....and they arent unlimited...but they tend to go on what YOU tell them eg. income etc

the ones you open on the high street often say online when you log in, 'open more bank accounts', doubt they they class them as sub accounts, they may not credit check you though........ youll have to ring around and ask about specifics....

I am going into few bank today and open 2 of each basic accounts.
I would be asking them if they do a credit check, my credit is okay, i do not have much credit to my name so do not want to ruin it for this damn ebay.
Once i get the accounts and shown the id, then i am sure when you want to open a extra account it would be easy since they have your id.
It is like Halifax and bank of Scotland. Once they check your id and have accounts with them, you can open an account with them online and within 7 days you get a new account.
i am planning to open atleast 10 accounts with various bank without credit check
Is it a good idea?
