problem putting up 1st listing
 

Hi, i took an ebay account from a friend last week. Then updated phone number and password then I am trying to put up 1st listing today (cheap non branded generic mobile phone case) and getting below message.

I will be thankful if someone can let me know; why is this happening? has changing details triggered security review? what questions they will ask me on the phone and what is the best way around this?

There probbaly picking up your using a different IP address

Possibly changing the password and phone number then listing. Maybe you should have first done some browsing to build up cookies on your pc then changed the password. Done some more browsing then change the phone number. Rise and repeat. List item.

What about the paypal account? Is this from your friend too? Or have you attached one of your own?

I attached my own paypal account.

I called ebay and them opened my account. They asked some basic questions regarding the details which were in place before i took over. I answered them and account reinstated.
