Ive had arguments in one Collect+ click and collect stores about ID, ending up calling the head office of the shop while I was in the store and they told the manager he does not need ID when the customer has the ebay code. But there was no way he was giving me the parcel before that without ID.

I never had problems with Argos, they sometimes ask for the name and that's it

seems they're withing their rights, and probably should, ask for ID.
Agreed.

Considering OP just said parcels went missing and complained, i don't see the problem with them asking for ID?

How do you supply ID when the items will have been bought on a Stealth Account?

Get a purpose made hooky driving licence which could land you in jail just to pick up a parcel?!

Argos. Has a new system I've been using it for a week. they send you a barcode and you literally walk in show your phone with the barcode. the person scans it. brings your parcel and says thanks. I don't even open my mouth. that's it done. Been every day this week. All purchases were from stealth account.

Is it just your local argos that’s closed ? Ours been open for weeks.

Collected something from Argos a few days ago paid with a Stealth PayPal (£500 item) and they just asked for the FT number and collection code, not even the name (although they asked for the name on previous visits).
