For those that have had some success with creating stealth Ebay with managed payments I have a question or 2.



I get the impression on here that the only way to activate MP is to submit real documents when signing up to managed payments.



So I have an account now that had been trading for several years under stealth Name, address, DOB ect.



So when I click the link to My Ebay I am met with the message "your steps away from getting back to selling" with a link to Update Account Details.



Click on that link and I get asked -

Do You operate your business as a legal entity?

I select Sole trader.



It then opens a page for Add Your Identity Information-

Now this defaults to the stealth name and address. DOB



Is this where I should now enter the my real details so My real Name, address and DOB? or should I be going into ebay settings first to change the account details?

Name and Dob have to match with the data on your id.

Uploading documents with do not match with the data on eBay will lead to a declining of the documents and asking ebay to upload them again.

There is no limit how many times this can happen and there is no limit how many times you can change the name dob and address.

BUT if you upload doctored documents the account will be suspended. if you upload real documents which are not very well visible, they will ask to re upload.

Note that you cant change the name if the account is suspended.
