Change business name and owner's name to different one
I got a Sole trader ebay account.
The business and owner's name & address are the same.
Can I change the business name and address to a different one and keep the owner's name & address as before (unchanged)?
Will it cause any problems? Will I get a payment hold or MP verification fail?
Please help!! |

Yes you can change them.
Unless you're changing your bank account too and will be updating that as well then I doubt it will be an issue.
But this is ebay, so who really knows?? |

I will not change the bank account. The bank detail is the same as own's details (personal info). But the business name and address will be changed to a different one (virtual trading name & virtual office address). The problem is that when I click EDIT business name option, there is an ebay notice: "Please make sure your details are accurate. If we're unable to verify the updates you make, your payouts may be held.". |

| If you can verify the updates, which I'm assuming you can, then it shouldn't be a problem.
I guess you're going to find out one way or the other if you're not happy leaving the account as it is. |

| If you move address and you change your address will you need to submit proof of address or doesn’t it matter. |
