is there a hurdle to becoming a seller

hi is there still a hurdle becoming an ebay seller something to do with they now want a credit card on file ???

Im going to get a second barclays bank account today which I will get a visa debit card in my proper name

it all got a bit confusing the long thread I read the other night people contradicting each other

as a starter I have genuinely got a new address and will soon have a new visa debit card in my real name at new address if anynone can tell me what next thanks

is there any better ways to do things like on line credit card etc I dont know about stuff like this

entropay works well with ebay and paypal.....

You don't need a card for Ebay if you link your paypal account for fee payment.... it just depends how you want to proceed... there are several ways that work and which one you use is a matter of personal preference....

I create Ebay account (as a business account straight off... there is a link on the registration page for this). I then Phone verify it and create PayPal account at the appropriate stage of registration. I add my virtual card to Paypal and that's that bit done with for now.

Then I go back to paypal and upgrade, verify phone and contact info, add bank account, submit DD instruction and confirm deposits a few days later.

And that is me ready to go.
