It can get mixed up between the 2

I pay selling fees with Revolut all the time for new accounts and it works great.
I've got one to pay later today and will update the thread.

What fees are you paying 'all the time' given that they're deduced from the sale proceeds before disbursement?

Even if fee balance arose, I didn't know you could manually pay them, I thought you had to attach a card as a back up in case they couldn't reclaim them from your bank account.

Depending on what's listed, new accounts may not have that much sales and withdrawals are set to daily so when fees are due, and no funds from prior sales are available, we get that 'Friendly Reminder: You have ebay fees that are due' email.

Revolut -> Edit Profile -> Change residential address to match ebay account details.
Cards -> Disposable virtual card -> Pay the fees using the pay button link within the ebay email.
Long process but it's always work even for refunds.

This tends to accumulate cards in the account if you carry on.
How do you manage refunds and fees when you don't have balance?

Nice to see someone going straight in there with business accounts ( contrary to the advice on this forum) :)

Given you've no meaningful sales, why not change the initial few disbursements to, say, monthly to negate this issue of cards?

I too only deal in business accounts and I've never opened an account (most recent May this year) where there's been insufficient sales/funds to pay to fees, but as a safeguard I don't use daily disbursements even on established accounts. I set it at weekly and can do 'on demand' if I feel like it.

That means I've never had to fund anything from another source but if I did then they would go to my bank account.

Great idea actually. I've had a few scary instances on fast-selling accounts, especially one where significant amount was held pending ID submission. I thought it might be better to minimise risk by capping any losses to one day's worth of sales - so I updated our procedure to set all subsequent accounts to daily payout and have religiously followed it ever since.
Part of it could be old habits from the old days with PayPal daily sweep.

If I remember correctly, the on demand payout option had not been introduced at the time so I did not have that option.
However, yours is a better way to do it.

Did you change your personal details on revolut to match those on the eBay account (as described above) ?

Yes, because I used the multi-use virtual card which is AVS.
For some reason, the single-use visa card kept failing however it used to work in the past.

How many times have you changed your address on Revolut? I haven't tried this yet so will give it a go

Several times per week and well over two years now.
Not all of these are on eBay. Some are for Google ads but each ad account is different so payment is matched to the address with every payment per account.

Most times, I go to change it and realise I've left it on a stealth address by accident. Terrible habit, I know but it still serves.
