I got a bunch of emails through today saying if you invite a friend to create a Paypal account and they spend a fiver then you get a tenner. Has anyone tried creating a bunch of stealth accounts to get the cash? lol

Used to do this a lot back when ebay and PayPal used to habe the offer at the same time. Worked nicely

right on about the eb and pp combo use - these days just the pp, spend a 5/get a 10...it's possible but takes a lot of proper stealthing...not sure on what verification might kick in too

I used to do this a lot and it worked nicely. However doesnt seem to work most of the time anymore. I think Paypal have put in a lot of extra security features to stop it. It might still be possible but I decided it wasnt worth the hassle.
