Default Listing on friends, paying to mine..

Is it ok if my friend has said I can log in and list a item on his ebay, then when I create the listing, pop my paypal address in the payment part.

Thanks in advance.

What happened to your Ebay account? Were you suspended? And was your Paypal account linked to it?

You are likely to get your friends account suspended if you aren't careful. Also not so good that the account details won't match.

Does your friend not have a PP account he could receive the funds to. He could them pass them on to you.

Yeah he does.

I just thought when you list, it asks you for a paypal for the payment, just thought you could put anything in there, as you may have more than one paypal.

It gives you the option to change it when listing?

Yes the option is there but you could end up causing your friend problems with their accounts if you create a link bewteen his and yours.

So what would someone do if they had two paypals?

Ebay give you the option to input a payapl for each individual listing? So if you could only use one wouldnt it just put yours in automatically?

read eBay Stealth. All of your questions will be answered.

If you use two paypal accounts with the same ebay, you basically have one paypal account.

I would never personnally use freinds or family details for two reasons.

1) They are most likely to cause my problems with limitations and suspensions

2) If I caused them any hassle I would feel guilty and responsible.

There are many other ways to create stealth accounts without involving freinds and family at all, you just need to think outside the box.

other people = problems

some of the most messy posts ive seen , involve other peoples PCs and accounts mixing

the whole point of ebay is that you are the boss....(well apart from the great overlord ebay, and our beloved leader paypal)

The only exception that would be reasonable was if you used your freinds details ie address and phone to set up an ebay and paypal account.

But you dont tell them. The best freinds to use in this case are techophobes who will never in a million years set up and ebay or PP account.

A test for the ideal candidiate is to say to them "do a google search for that"

They then say "whats google?"

An ideal candidate.

Depends on your morals though.
