Default first negative

Received a negative from a buyer, knew i would too. Did all I could in email to help them, and refund there money plus P+P as quick as possible, however woke up this morning to find a big red mark , against my 89+ FB
Left a reply message, countering their claims, and have tried to call them, to no avail so far! Will be on the blower to them tonight for sure!
Funny thing is, they have two phone numbers on their ebay account, is that allowed? guess it is. Just picking at straws here.

What else can I do ?

Any ideas , tips ?

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

unless its libel - eg. person remarks etc, no ebay wont do anything
they just say put counter comments - it hurts, especially when they are simply idiots
I wouldnt bother calling, who like to neg for nothing..but one neg amongst alot of positives, really doesnt affect sales

Hear you oopa, but it just grates on me.
I have just emailed the buyer to see if they will consider a retraction request for the feedback, will se how that pans out, told them i tried to call them in the email to.

I cannot believe people are so callous, they know full well what they are doing, worse still, why they are doing it.

I haven't done anything to this person, they haven't lost anything, i refunded their money. I knew this was a problem sale, when they asked for their money back before returning the item. I said no I wouldn't , not until I had receipt of the item.

Well here is to hoping my wonderful persuasive customer service skills will come into play ,and if they still do not agree, they will see my wonderful not so wonderful skills too.

Got through to someone at the number ebay gave me for the user, person who answered doesnt know why that user gave that number, as they have nothing to do with them.

Am right in thinking, i can report that to ebay and get them suspended?

Please advise?

Why would some do this?
Maybe to prevent psychos and harassing callers like you. That's a good idea!

What did you sell them anyway! Did you offer to pay for shipping? They could report you to ebay for harassment.

It is good to get that first negative out of the way. Then you can tell the rest of the complainers to suck it. This is not like the old days where you live or die by feedback. With ebay forcing paypal, most buyer don't care about a few spread out negatives. The feel protected by the Ebay/Paypal buyer protection guarantee. As long as you have mostly positive transactions you should be OK.

all the negs Ive had have been from psychos, Im not just saying that, in the real world you get weirdos, same on ebay...they received goods, nothing wrong with goods etc..but they want to give a neg regardless...where a normal person would have given positive....
