closing and opening an account on ebay

Hi just a quick question about closing my ebay account down. If I was to close the account, and then re-open it again, what are/would if any, the implications be ?
Obviously i lose my feedback, but in relation to account security, would i have any problems?
My account is in good standing, other than receiving 3 negs now in a week.
Main reason for wanting to close it down, and start over.
As one can have as many accounts as they like, I wouldnt have thought there would be a problem, right? should i just leave this one open,and start another one, but not use the current one anymore?

Thoughts ideas all help , appreciated

yes just leave the original open, once the dust has settled in few months or years you may want to use it, never close an account, older ones are the best and it is getting harder to jump the new account hurdle, alot of new accounts are getting limited straight away, - keep it, without a dobut.

for the new account, just have no links, in terms of ips/cookies/bank/cards etc..the name and address can however be a variation of the old one or a compltely new one...

I don't think he wants to close and reopen the same account. I think he wants to close and open a new account with same info.
How many positives do you have versus the negatives? What are the nature of the negatives? You know you can reply to the negatives with something like "Sorry family member in hospital, will work to fix complaints"
Your sales might be slow for awhile until you start getting positives, but feedback as not as important as it once was because of Ebay's seller protection guarantee. If you are above 96% you should eventually be OK.

You can also "Request Feedback revision"

Before you send them this you need to make sure you have solved and problems you have with the buyer. You only have one time to do this. If the buyer denies the revision then that's it. You also only have 30 days to do this. Suck ass to the buyer tell them you will give them something for free if they change the feedback. Make something up.
