Default 5 year old account suddenly getting 21 day hold on paypal

why the heck would i suddenly start getting 21 day holds on paypal i have been seling on the account for a while the paypal and ebay are well beyond verification stages? should i be worried cuz i am

have you done anything different? Are your current items different from what you were selling B4? Has there been an increase of sales volume?

There certainly have been changes with paypal practices. Some accounts are getting holds, some are getting a reserve held. You should at least be aware of this



It's a typical paypal stunt. Dont forget no accounts are immune from their nastiness

i have the same problem, my account was fine when i used tracking, then i sold at least 150 items under £3 and didnt use tracking and thats caused paypal to hold even a £2.50 payments for 21 days

you just said in the other thread you sold 30 items,lucy. Bit of a difference in numbers. Keep posting in the other thread or the answers will be muddled

im assuming that the fact is 1 dsr rating at 4.5 is the reason im getting the hold, i have 144 feedback 1 neg and couple of neutral and it seems some buyers leave 1 dsr even positive feedback

personally, when I leave feedback i just give all 5 stars... as long as I get my goods, I couldnt care less..

some people actually take the time to decide whether or not the seller was helpful etc etc to base their answer for a star...
