Remove postal address of paypal??

Hi folks, I have an old ebay/paypal acc. it has a registered address and a postal address on it (paypal) can I remove the paypal postage address as this is the same as my girlfriends paypal address to keep the accounts seperate? thanks in advance for any replies. Bo.

You have to add a different address before you remove the current address. I believe the new address must also be confirmed before PP will allow removal of the current address.

However.... Removing the address from your profile does not remove it from their internal records. If they ever suspect for some other reason that your current account and her current account are linked based on other clues, they can pull up the history of all addresses and add that into the mix.

Cheers Vic, the registered address is different on my paypal, its only the postal address which i want to remove because that is the same as my girlfriends, or is it ok to leave, as the registered address is different?

If that address is a secondary address or a shipping address, it's fine to leave it. There is still a potential for the accounts being linked. But if that address is her primary but your secondary, that's explainable. If you already have a confirmed primary address, you can indeed remove it anyway.
