How do you know that Mail boxes/PO Boxes aren't blacklisted by customs?

Whats the chances on a mail box or virtual address being blacklisted by customs? Any one had any seizures when having goods sent to one of these?

its always a risk, especially if the address has had really bad stuff arrive, they could be on notice. Ive not heard of it happening to forum members though

Chances would depend on the imported goods. Just as an example, steroids coming into the country could well see addresses being on a watchlist. It's a matter of being careful about whatever you import into the UK.

Make yourself familiar with their expectations to reduce any grief for yourself.

To circumvent annoying HMRC, you need to make sure any excise is paid. When you research purchases, find out everything you can. Develop a relationship with the seller. Use a customs broker if you need. Advantage of that is they are a buffer, to a degree.

If you are that worried, check the media. Obviously reports of anything being seized could mean those items are 'hot' at the moment.

Use common sense about what you do and who you do business with.

its hard to know, who you are sharing an address with GB....I doubt box company knows until they get a visit from plod...
