it worked for me, but then failed on another stealth account later that day - the only difference being the second stealth was only minutes old, so I hadn't yet validated bank details.

Paypal phone verification worked when one stealth account was verified with the bank, then i tryed out another account without the bank verified and it didn't work

I think for the phone verify to work we need to confirm the bank first!

I just signed up new paypal/ebay stealth accounts.

I used completely ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address.

I used a sipgate voip number for phone.

Entropay for CC

and Halifax bank account to verify Paypal, with the wrong (⊗⊗⊗⊗) name on the Direct Debit agreement, that still went through.

This was 2 weeks ago, no probs.

i have also bought that, but i amquite sure it has something to do wil entropay, i will open up another ebay/paypal account within the next 2 weeks, if the telephone verification works i will let you know.

Yep, worked here.

i tried to verify by phone again and it worked, it is a stealth account with entropay vcc, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address, but this time i changed my ebay seller fees payment from credit card to paypal then tried to verify by phone again with paypal, this time it called the viop telephone number, so either the glitch is over or there never was one and you have to have your payment method with ebay as paypal, hope you find this info useful.

I would try this method tonight and would keep everyone informed

you have to load your vcc first you cannot use it for pp verification without your entropay card loaded,also i used a mobile phone number for ebay verification but will not work for pp...so all you people who think there having trouble with vcc load it first,then it will work..
