Recommendations for home pick up & delivery of items

So anybody out their doing high quantity and need a courier to collect at door? What courier are you using and what are the costs? I do no want to be standing in the post office for 2hours every day... lol

oompaloompa 11-15-2010 06:11 PM

all I can say is avoid parcelforce....

I can tell you how many they have lost, and their compensation system is a joke

stickmade 11-15-2010 08:07 PM

thanks oompa i'll avoid them. Anybody else ?

Dude 11-15-2010 09:22 PM

Use interlink, they are pretty good and best of all their compensation system ROCKS :D

Paddymac 11-16-2010 04:50 AM

What about parcel2go.com??

GreenBean 11-16-2010 05:43 AM

@Paddymac, they are not too bad. But time constraints sometimes can muck up the transaction. There's not always anyone in your area that can do the delivery :pop2:

oompaloompa 11-16-2010 06:24 AM

Ive had probs with parcels2go double charging me, and then not replying to emails.

When you talk to them, tell them you will be posting over 50 parcels a week and that your are being charged £8 per 10kg at the moment with your current company *just make 1 up* tell them if they can beat it. If you are a good dealer u can get them to as low as £6 per 10kg

stickmade 11-17-2010 09:56 AM

nice one. Im planning around 200 per week to start off with, just small stuff. thanks DUDE!

i had loads of missed collections with myhermes

Another one i found pretty good was citylink

Dude 11-17-2010 10:12 PM

Trust me, stick with Interlink. I have ben round the block a few times from Citylink to Amterak, Parcel force to DHL. They are all as bad as each other. Interlink has its own fault too but they actually pay up in CASH if something goes wrong :)

crazyfrog 11-18-2010 03:01 PM

Interparcel is very cheap and reliable.

eternity4u 11-19-2010 12:18 PM

I have use interparcel many times. All i can say they are the best company to deal with.
