Please can someone give me some advice about my situation.. i Am in the process of setting my new ebay and paypal accounts up..All going fine until i went to list my first item,,the phone number worked and then first of all ebay asked for a card for there fees...i am obviously using a mates name and address so i used his name for the bank account set up and paypal are in the process of dropping those 2 small totals on my bank account..so my question is the card i have with the bank account which is at my home address ...so do i need to buy a card off my mate from here again ? will the card be rejected if i use the one i have with my new bank account? ( i think it might do cos the address is different and name obviously) Or shall i wait until the bank account as been verified and then will they accept that for ebay fees? please if anyone can help me to make sure i am doing the right way thanks

I would have put the bank accounts and cards in my own name personally.

For the fees just sign up for a free entropay card and load it up using any card you wish.

Thanks for the fast reply.. i did put the bank and card in my name..just the address is different ...i just signed up for your entropay suggestion.. it is asking for this...The amount you enter below and a load fee of 4.95% will be charged to the personal credit/debit card you entered in Step 2. ,,,so am i correct in saying that i have to add 10 pounds onto the card for it to work properly or will it work like this.....Your EntroPay Visa Card has been activated and is ready to be funded! ??????? thanks

ok i got the card...so when paypal asks me for an address for this card..i can put any address down for it can i ?

use the address that you have on ebay for the card.. have you bought eBay Stealth? u need to buy it for further information.. also you need to link your ebay to paypal and confirm your paypal.. that way ebay won't ask you for card number.. the reason they're asking for the card is because your paypal is not confirmed

entropay will charge your bank card £10.50 if you load £10... they will then issue you with a visa card number which you can use on paypal

Thanks for your help people....card worked fine but it still never let me start selling..it wont let me until the bank account is confirmed with the paypal deposits lol

Are you sure your doing things right, i have listed just last week in ebay without a bank account added to pp

surely waiting a couple of days to receive the paypal deposits wont make that much difference anyway?

u can start selling if you register your card to pay your fees. what you need to do is list the item and it will take you to a screen where you need to register as a seller and you can select pay with card.. this should work
