pp want photo id on a new account ive opened its stealth by the way

is it even worth trying to send a stealth doc in to them any1 on the uk had any luck

my eb account is still working but the pp has a limitation wanting id

get back to me people i just wanna no if i should try it or just move on

Until such time as paypal say they hate you & dont want to do business. always try to get the limitation removed. If they want ID, give them ID.

Had a limit removed about 6 weeks ago.

so it is worth trying GB (long time no talk hope all is good your end buddy)

bare in mind its stealth

just didnt want to loose another bank account :(

That's why I always make the effort. It's more for the bank account's survival.

What's the worse that could happen? If they don't accept the ID then the account is still banned.
Once you add a bank account to the PP account then the bank account is permanently linked to that stealth information. So regardless of limitation or not your best bet is to always try to get it removed.

im getting it ready to send in to them and see how it goes

ive nearly got all the docs ready to send i will defo come back and post my outcome :pop2:

if its a soft limitation, which i think this one is, as long as you give them what they ask for and call them or email about things you cant and explain eg invoices etc, then there is a good change of lifting.

Hi have the same problem with paypal my account is verified and they want photo id a driving licence but this is a stealth account is in a womans name and and am a male what do i do?.

give them the docs they need or start again mate

I think this is where stealth does not works where verification comes into picture.Its all luck if they dnt ask for docs.Even if you make one and provide them i guess it depends on eb and pp to accept.:mad2:

yep your right...its a 50/50 chance but its worth taking seen as you got nothing else to loose

im only doing it as i dont want to wait 180days for the money i have trapped in there,i couldnt care about the eb and pp accounts i have more sleepers nearly ready for me

keep me updated as im in the same boat with submitting photo id.. paypal & ebay sucks

no worrys ,just finishing it off just been busy so took longer then expected...

would be nice to have a few accounts that have been through the id thing and passed it as thats the only problem im having with my accounts

i have lost about 3 pp accounts all due to them wanting id so now i thought id get an id sent to them to see what happens even tho ive heard alot of the time there still wont reinstate the account

have an operation,

never understood that one...make account in your gender in case of calls. could you use software that changes voice, google it! or get a friend involved, not ideal though

im in a similar situation, but with ebay not paypal, did you get the account back?

had a friend submit genuine doc's on a genuine account last week and they failed, i was gob smacked to say the least.

im getting ready to submit doc's for the first time in a long while, anyway mate good luck, hope you pass .

that has happened to a few people here actually.
- I think they must be failing a certain proportion regardless of what they send, to show to their compliance.
or it is the acc they do not like eg goods or some way it was made.

real annoying to lose a bank, so wish we got vba here in UK, then we could swap for real bank once passed....

I recently faxed and emailed docs and passed with flying colours. They must have been happy and in the Christmas spirit. Saying that, quality was top of the range. If one is going to send in docs, I recommend sending in now as its Christmas.

Yes, I´m also in the "waiting list".

It also happened to me before: sent real docs matching account info and got kicked. In this particular case I believe account was linked by the SSN of my country.

Yeah well I had to upload ID doc and I uploaded a driving licence and utility bill, the driving licence was accepted and they werent happy with the utility bill as my name wasnt identical to how it was registered with Paypal, the only difference was on the utility bill my first name was just shown as the initial then surname, anyway I gave them a new utility bill where my name appeared EXACTLY as it was registered with Paypal and then within a few days everything was tickety boo!

Unfortunately the same day that Paypal removed all my selling limits, Ebay 'indefinetely suspended' my account from selling !!! What a laugh!!! Here we go again!

they are nuts, alot of/I would say most, utilities send the bill in ititial and surname.

Docs being accepted by PP is a 50-50 gamble these days. Folks have had the boot with legit docs and vice versa...

every single one for me is that way.

that just happened to me - real docs of my family member and their real bank statement. I cannot understand it. A good account lost.

And I had another two sets of ID accepted this week. Good old paypal. ;)

Were you trying to lift the receiving limit or was it a different limitation?

Well I would suggest that when you submit the docs you ensure that your name on the docs appears EXACTLY as it appears on paypal, i.e, IN FULL! Initials will get your docs rejected.
