Default Assessment of my account

Both accounts under a month old
Ebay - Business account
Paypal - Business account, Bank Verified, Credit card Verification next day or 2.

Do I have selling limits at the moment? If so what are they?

Also, although the account is Verified, it is also asking me questions for further verifcation, such as business type etc. Have done it all except is is not accepting my stealth address. I know the name is valid to the address (a friend of mine) so why wont it go through?

Thanks in advance

NB would also like to ask, Ive just put up 8 items for sale, I expect about £40 off each item, relatively safe product. Will the account get flagged?

Thanks for that. Sounds pretty straightforward.

What do you think about the account? My limits? Will I get flagged for my sales this week?

Thanks in advance

Hi WelshMan!

Thats quite a lot of sales to have running through an ebay/paypal account thats under a month old. Your best leaving it 30 days before you sell anything on an account.

Are you selling VERO items? if soo definatly stop sales straight away and let the account age a little bit.

the key to building new accounts is GO SLOW!

In the U.S. ALL New Accounts have a selling limit of 10 Items or $500.00, Whichever comes first.

Im quite sure that the UK has similar Limits, at the rate that you are currently listing you will NO Doubt run into them soon.

On your Address issue, I have Read that other UK Members here having similar issues, they just kept trying and eventually the information was accepted

Ok I guess I should put off a few then onto another account!

One thing I am wondering also, is with the stealth account I am referring to I upgraded it to a business account straight away (well after 2 auctions when it wouldnt let me list same item 3rd time), cant do it with my stealth accounts yet. Is this a shortcut into getting the account upgraded quickly?

Ideally you should age the account and build up some feedback before upgrading to a business account.

Well I am going to run a few at the same time. I will upgrade some early and others I'll let age see what works best.

Do ebay spot patterns with log ons with me going in and out of each one in sequence?

Also all my accounts are in a 50Km radius address wise of eachother and running similar products. Could this cause a flag too?

Most dangerous word I have read so far is QUICK.

Quick is not good long term.

Far better to have had your paypal fully verified B4 racing into selling.

8 items @ £40 equals too much money, imo. What's your feedback total from selling?
You might sneak by & I hope you do. BUT dont expect plain sailing.
This is not F1 racing. Slow is preferable since you asked for assessment.

Ok cool. Well the account is over a month now, and Ive done 4 sales at about £40 each. Will slowly ease off it a little now and spread some more over the other accounts.

Paypal are telling me they are holding on to money for 21 days. Is this a flag or routine for new sellerS?

A routine flag from the bar stewards.

Not specific to new sellers but more of a gift to all sellers. Since it's paypal it differs. Best to be aware it will happen and endeavour to work around it.

Despatch quickly
Stellar customer service
Supply tracking
& prayers for no holds.

One thing, great thinking to realise to spread selling over your accounts.
