| willy1980 | 05-16-2011 05:07 PM | Hello everyone.
I have just joined the club. Got my account suspended and even ebay owes me money lol
The problem is that i have a refund process with escrow as well and i cannot receive the money because paypal will not allow any payments in.
Anyone can give me some ideas please? It is not much...only 100USD.
A while ago, DHL has lost one of my parcels, valued at 300USD. After a long dispute with the seller, i won the right for 100USD back. Now, Pey Pol is closed, and i have no ideas how to receive the ammount. They say that the money will only be returned to the same pay pal account. That's horrible.
On the other side, my eboy account is closed as well and they owe me nearly 300 GBP !!! The same problem...pay pal closed= no way to receive anything.
Anyone has been in the same situation before? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Just opened a bank account and trying to build a PP account in a few hours...(tomorrow, as now i am a bit tired...)

If they refuse, kindly explain that you will be contacting the FO and will see them in court to reclaim the money that is owed to you, however it should not result in you needing to do that, as long as your details for them to send the cheque to are legit, they should send it out to you. I have never experienced that before, so maybe someone with more experience can shed some more light , however that is how I would approach it. |
| willy1980 | 05-21-2011 02:44 PM | An update about refunds to closed PP accounts....
The refund went into the PP account. I guess you don't have to worry...
Now i have to see what is happening to the money that eb owes me.
Had a conversation with some angry EB employees and the refund process was started the day the account was closed. It will go to PP account.
Now...as a warning to everyone.... When a EB account is being closed, ask for the funds to be sent other way than PP.
My PP account was ok for another 2 days after the EB limitation.
Now i believe that i have to wait the 180 days.
I have told them that if PP will hold my funds for more than 30 days they will hear from me again. Now i am waiting to see what is happening. The refund process can take up to 30 days.
Hope that helps anyone in here.... |
| willy1980 | 05-21-2011 02:52 PM | And another annoying thing. A few days after the limitation of PP account, i have received an email from PP saying that they have tried to remove funds from my bank account, but they couldn't. As a result, my bank account was removed from the PP account.
I did not speak with them yet. I am waiting to see what is happening with the money from EB.
Why would they want to remove anything from my bank account?
The day PP account went down, I have removed any direct debits to EB and PP.
I believe they are not able to get anything from me anymore....
But one thing is unclear....why would they want to get funds from my bank account? ....Or....that is the procedure to remove my bank account....??
I have no idea. I wil speak with them once the EB fees will go to them...
Sorry for the double post.... There are 2 different subjects....:yar: |
| ShadyOne | 05-21-2011 03:20 PM | ^ Was the bank account a saver? |
| willy1980 | 05-22-2011 12:32 AM | No. Was a regular account with HSBC....
But as i said, i have removed any direct debits linked to PP or EB.... |
| paypalpains | 05-22-2011 04:14 AM | EB will put the money into your PP account regardless of what ask them to do, they are dumb ar*ses |

Perhaps PP are alerted when your bank account on file no longer has the DD set up. I don't know enough about this but would like to, so somebody jump in and explain. This happens a lot, so I would like a more definitive answer. |
| willy1980 | 05-24-2011 02:09 AM | Good news guys.
As i said a few days ago, I have spoken with EB staff. I must have done something good because i have just received the money straight into my bank account. I have received the seller fees that they owed me.
Now there is only 120GBP left in the PP account.
The seller fees were the big concern....
So....I think i have cleared some questions with my experience and someone else will use the info here.
Now i will have to speak with PP people and see what will happen with the amount in the PP account....but i guess i will have to wait the 180 days.
I guess all we have to do is to find the right person when dealing with that kind of problems. I have had enough luck and the person was in a good mood that day.
Now i am a bit happier than yesterday.
Wish you all good luck ! |
| Stigger | 05-24-2011 09:16 AM | when you open your new eby account, open two or three (not all at same time) linked to the same PP, That way you can rotate accounts, some peole say it is not to open few eby account to one pp because if one goes down they all go down but this not always the case also you have much less chance of ebay account getting limited if you can :juggle: |
| ShadyOne | 05-24-2011 03:19 PM | Awesome news Willy! Always good to see things working in real time. |

They will see you have multiple accounts and you will get restricted, from my own experience with two 100% accounts. |
| Littlemorestealth | 05-25-2011 07:00 AM | Is it against the rules then to have 2 or more accounts? |
| paypalpains | 05-26-2011 03:02 AM | No it is not, however they will see it as suspicious activity and more than likely, not necessarily remove both accounts, has happened to me. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:00 AM. | |
