Should I close my ebay accounts now I have selling restrictions?
Hi there. After buying and reading the stealth guide, I am now back on ebay. However, I have been hit with selling restrictions on both of my ebay accounts which are linked to one paypal. One of the restrictions is for 30 days and the new one on the other ebay account is for 7 days.
Is it worth closing these accounts down after the restriction has been lifted so that I can still use my paypal, and create new ebay accounts that can be used to this same paypal? Is this a good idea? I don't want to get suspended indefinitely again thats all. (I do have 2 more stealth accounts too which are good atm and are linked to another paypal to use for now).
Any advice is appreciated, cheers.

The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Never close an account of your own free will, ever.
Never let ebay put you into that corner.
Be patient: the selling restrictions end.
Fiddle with them by doing a little buying, get more FB.
Re-examine your business plan. How are your DSRs, FB etc.
Be proactive to improve.
Make sure the other batch of accounts does not get hurt with similar restrictions.
Are these business accounts or personal? Business accounts allow more listings

Hi thanks for the reply.
I know the restrictions will end but the account that has a 30 day limit has put me at more risk. I know now that I will be watched closely so I don't want to jeopardise both accounts, and the paypal linked to it, by that 1 becoming banned, if you understand?
My feedback on both are not much, over 10, but all 100% positive and an average 4.9 dsr's.
The one account with a 30day limit is a personal account and the other (7day) is a regular business shop. Just feel like cutting it short and creating new accounts so that i can link it to the same paypal incase I become suspended for ever again.
'Big Boss' says it all really. If an account is not toasted and still has life in it - keep it going. You've got to know when to hold em and know when to fold em.
True, but it would save a lot of time by getting rid of the infected ebay account and creating a new one, would it not? In order to keep the paypal from being associated with a suspended ebay account?
I'm afraid it already is associated. You cannot get away from it. By all means open new accounts but trying to juggle around creating new for the existing set up will only end in tears.
