Are all ebay transactions now getting put on hold for 21 days?
If so does anyone know a way around it? I am not liking the idea of having to send the goods before I actually have my money. Seems like another way for buyers to have more protection rather than us sellers.
I am just about to start a new stealth account and want to know whats the process.
I recieved a payment outside of ebay for £350 and they held it for 24 hours and then it was released so what happens with ebay sales?
Cheers

Yes for new sellers all funds are being placed on hold.
When feedback is left by the buyer the funds are released straight away.
Or
When it is confirmed that the item was delivered for up to 3 days, the funds are released.
However lately I have noticed that all of my payments have been held for the full 21 days even when they have confirmed delivery.Damn buyers are just too lazy to leave feedback
Sell, enter tracking, ship and wait. You'll get your money in a week. Less if you're in a tiny country like UK. When they trust you enough, they'll get rid of the hold.
Any attempt to circumvent that will just lead to more problems.
Ive noticed they don't release it when they should. It's like i have to sell another item for them to become aware the money is there, then they release it. Sometimes earlier than the 3 days after delivery confirmation.
I was able to sell 3 items before the hold took place on the new Stealth account created about 4 days ago. It has a limit of $5000 or 100 items, whichever comes first
