you got to connect another router

you need to take the router functions out of the modem and then connect an external one to get new i.p's

quite tricky but i can throw you some instructions if you want.

yes sorry i was not clear.

i think there is no maual way to change your i.p, even if you use a m.a.c address changing tool, so the only other way i know is to connect a second router and connecting your laptop then going in to DMZ and configering it thus giveing you a second i.p

ngconsider contacti virgin (the " we are thinking of leaving section") and explain that due to the construction of the internal walls using breeze blocks they attenuate the radio signal. This means that there is poor coverage essential locations. This will require a separate router in an alternative part of your home to give full radio coverage. I actually have this problem here because i live in a bungalow and have a modem in the room where the cable comes inside then a cable goes to the router in the roof space giving me all round coverege. if the router was in the modem room 3 rooms get hardly any signal. hpefully they will supply an alternative modem with seperate router

good luck mate but not sure that will do what you want, it's down to changing i.p, you cannot do that with the modem you have so you need to incoparate a second route, two routers, other wise if you just replce the one you have you will be in the same place with the same i.p

first router 192.168.0.1

second router 192.168.0.10

Am i right in thinking every time i disconnect then reconnect it gives me a new ip and if this is the case does eb not get suspicious with you having a new address every time you log in ?

i think if you do as the stealth guide suggests, creating a new user account in windows and dont clear cookies etc..

Then doesnt look that suspicious, IMO

not 100% sure though
