Business Account - Help needed.
 

Right,

So anyway, I thought today would be the day I could open my stealth account but seem to have hit a stumbling block. I have got my stealth address sorted and also created a Private Limited Company via companies house, I went to the bank and they rejected me opening a bank account on the business name, reasons were because I had not used my personal account with them for a few years and as it was a new business.

I have thus opened a business name for no reason :doh:.

Advice I need is:

1) Can I still open ebay business account on stealth address and company name
2) Attach a private bank account instead of a business one of course with name variation....

PS: The bank woman said if I added a director onto the company that banks regularly with HSBC it would be beneficial and could help in opening up the account.:pry: so I am going to contact companies house to see if this can happen.

Go to Think Banking as a short term solution. It is not advised to link a private account to a limited company

Hello GrannyT Thanks for your input.... I spoke to companies house and they said I could add another director by filling out some forms, I think this might be the next step... *Sigh* is ebay really worth all this running around.....

You are making very hard work of a very simple operation. You really do need to do more homework before going down this route.

9. Organise exit strategy and transfer of accounts
