I've had the strangest thing happen. I sold some headphones..21 day hold. Next day I sell something..no hold? Maybe because I have 100% positive feedback? Anyway call paypal and the woman says paypal can't see my 'positive feedback' or my 'linked ebay account'. What aload of crap! Then she says it can take upto 21 days for me to get my funds. I'm like..but the guys left positive feedback..tracking on 2nd march shows items delivered (i sent recorded 1st class royal mail)..so i've done what you said tizwoz dropped that address an email..hopefully it helps in this bizarre and different rule by a different paypal rep world!,...

You sold headphones and called up pp to get rid of the hold...you do know that headphones can be considered high risk? You are asking for trouble...just wisdom from reading all around and seeing what people have problems with

Hi, I only sold one pair. And had no idea tbf, they were genuine headphones..only went for £30 if that helps lol..but thanks RSOT i'll consider that next time i list something

Dear XXXXXXXX,

Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding your funds availability

I am more than willing to help you resolve your issues as quickly as possible.

I have checked and see that the item was successfully delivered through the tracking number you have provided.

I have just made your funds available so you should be able to access your money anytime, this is for transaction ID XXXXXXXX.

You can keep your funds on your PayPal balance and use it when sending out a payment, or have it transferred to your bank account by clicking on the ‘Withdraw’ tab.

In the future, when we hold an eBay payment temporarily for 21 days, funds can be released instantly once the corresponding buyer has left a positive feedback, or you provide us a tracking number which confirms that your item was sent 3 days ago to the address specified in the transaction details page.

I am glad to resolve your concern.

Thank you for being a valued customer of PayPal. Should you need further clarification or assistance regarding this matter kindly contact us.

It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing PayPal.

Yours sincerely,
Mary Ann

Does this still work?

If so how do we write the email (subject...etc) ?

Do we need to explain that the money hasn't been released.

How do you layout the email ?

What do you put in the subject line and do you need to explain everything in the body of the email?

moneyhustler88 03-19-2013 04:22 AM

it still works and to be honest..all i said was i sent the item and got positive feedback and its been 3 days and the funds aren't released..i got that response above.
just be honest and careful what you write..i put my subject as something like payment release help or something so yeah..

I have rang up 3 times since Friday to get funds released after positive feedback. Each time they have told me its a fault in the system that's preventing funds being automatically released , a glitch that is being looked into and trying to be repaired , they said in the meantime just ring up and tell us that you have recieved feedback and want funds releasing and will do it . True to there word iv had 10-12 item funds released over the space of 3 calls since Friday ...
Thanks.

moneyhustler88 03-20-2013 06:19 AM

Wow,

Yeah I think theres a glitch where paypal can't see the feedback on ebay left which causes a problem, the woman when I rang told me the same thing to be fair.
In the end the email to europeanservices worked for me. So I got to give props where its due to TizWoz on that..but i don't really like calling paypal as i get too paranoid if you call them that you could get that 1 paypal agent who decides to limit your account because you annoyed him..
