Default Opening Business Bank accounts

Hi, I was wondering how to open multiple business bank accounts...
for example in Barclays - at an initial interview, will they not ask for company details....
would they open accounts for ebay business
and what about multiple accounts for multiple ebay businesses.
Can you open 10 Business accounts for different named ebay businesses.
Anyone tried this at all?

10 at one shot would be very suspicious - best open 1-2 then few months later, slowly build - I am sure other UK folx will chime in later.

you can open one main bussiness bnk account, then open other sub accounts from that account for all your ebay accounts.

Ask your bank, accounts ( Barclays - Alliance & Leicester ) i have had in the passed have otherwise i wouldn't really posted it as an option.

Failing that just tell your bank beofre hand that you will have money comming in from different sites in different names.

i have done both of the above before and still do.

tizWoz, do they ask you for company details or something like that??(i mean can a normal person without having a business apply for a business account)?

and whats the benefit of having a business bank account over a normal current account??

Anyone can apply for a business account

The advantage is that if you are running multiple stealth accounts you can organise new bank accounts without any problem - I wouldn't reccomend Barclays though

yer and if you use foerster formations you stand a very very good chance of getting one, Uaually a telephone interview instead of walk in. all they ask is how much i expected to make pcm and my address, best of all it was free and they do all the foot work.

forgot to mention free business numbers :

SwitchboardFree | Virtual Switchboard | Free 084 Numbers | Call Tracking

looks better in listing, i know its not really relevant but it's a freebie.
