Question Setup new Stealth Paypal & eBay

hi all.

Just setup a stealth eBay and paypal using a relatives information who has never been on the site. I setup a 'Business Account', however it then asks

Confirm your personal information
Confirm your personal information Review and update your personal information. The information you give PayPal is processed according to the Privacy Policy.

So I put in the relatives information including name etc, but have had to use an address from across the road as the relative lives in the same house as me and my address has been limited on another account.

Why would it come up with a message saying 'After doing some checks we have found that this information does not match, please go back and fill in your information again. If this information is inaccurate, we will ask for more documents.

How do I proceed as I tried to put in the information then asked me to do it again?

Thanks

PRobably other UKers will chime in but could it be that the postal code is off? Did you do a public search to verify?

OP, is this a serious question????

The reason the confirm identity check is failing is because the person whose name is on the paypal account does not actually live at the address across the road.

Why are you surprised that it didn't work? Is the relative staying with you on the electoral register at your address and is your actual house postcode the same as the postcode of house across the road?

You have no way now to avoid a doc request to lift the £1900 limit based on how you've set up this account. You will need to provide docs with your relative's name on them but with the address across the road.

Dear oh dear......

...eBayorbust.. not being funny but I didnt know that this was the checks they do.

The postcode across the road is the same as mine and yes is living with me on electoral reg.

Im being a bit of a noob here definately but how should I of set this up then..? Should I of used my address (the same address that I was limited on my account, but because my relative lives with me I still have to use this.. and it will be ok?)

Unless the relative is on the electoral register at a postcode that matches the stealth postcode then any "confirm identity" checks are going to fail.

Also, as suggested in other posts, you need to stop using your neighbours to "collect" parcels for you.

Also, don't use an address that has just been suspended from paypal / eBay - especially if the relative has the same surname.

Of course it was a long term plan. You wanted it to work but decided once you were told it was not workable you changed your tune.

You do not go stealth with someone else's info.

Seriously I dont think you have read or understood anything here.

The methods you are happily telling other users to do are not working ones.

YOU need to make a new YOU and find an address that is OK to use.

Stop this malarky of parcels to neighbours, borrowing names.

To be stealth costs money. You have to face this. Look to hiring a postal box.
It's the price of business.

What you outlined above, is not going to work long term

AND: why oh why oh why, did you go ahead and make an account without giving us the plan first?

Read the forum. It's stated to many users, make aplan, post the plan and we can help tweak it BEFORE it goes to ebay/paypal and runs into trouble

Stealth is planning, not using half baked ideas. Please realize that now

Have you made your excel sheet?
Have you worked out your IPs?
Is there a user account prepared?

Worse: are you 100% sure you cleaned your computer B4 you tried this? These matters must be done carefully to be successful

it is crossing the line and unnecessary, submit docs from the start or nearer £1900, you have a good chance of passing, as long as the risks on your account are considered ok by them.

GB you dont need to get on my back about it chill out.

Yes I have made an excel for all IPS.

Yes I have made another sheet with all the information for the accounts where I can fill it in.

Yes I do have a clean machine.

Yes I do have a new user account.

I thought this would work my plan because the persons details im using ARE on the electoral role, and the postcode is the one they would be under so why would it say its not correct?

Lay easy on me,,, I never saw a post to tell users to put my plan on here.

Thanks

You sent me a pm. I've now replied.

Trust me, and the others will tell you, I tell users that all the time.

Now, dont run true to form and get the huff when you dont like the replies.

You're not going as well as you think with your stealth approach.

And now, happily for me & you, I am going to sign off.

Greenbean I do appreciate all the help around here but I keep seeing mixed responses to questions I ask and we have all been noobs before.

I thought that registering a new address about 50 metres from my house that obtains the same postcde as mine with a relatives name would be ok but as ive read this is not the case.

I didnt know anything about the electoral role, as if this was the case then no one would be able to register with PO BOX's. (I thought PO BOX's weren't a good idea as this would raise some suspicion to paypal that possibly you are a scammer?)
