Sometimes twink2012 you have no choice. If you are running a business account you are likely to get what is called a rolling reserve where 10% of your money is held for 90 days.

I know one person in the UK who had £70K frozen for 6 months

I also have a rolling reserve on my merchant account - it's all part of doing business on the net

Depends on on how broke you are, if you're already good to go then it might not bother you since you know you're going to get it out either way, it's not gonna be locked up forever.

The only thing is the bigger the amount the more suspicous they are when moving it to your bank account, even when its genuine they lie through their teeth to delay payment into a bank account. Small and often is the thing to do.

Rang back...when? 181 days later?

That's crazy about 5k - you were moving that much from pp? Was it verified with ID?

It was LTD company we were doink 150k uk pounds sales a month we were one of the quickest growing ebay ids in 2010 at the time 12000 feedback in 4 months. Then we got hit for limitation docs etc for some dumbells BOWFLEX , they didnt like them limited us 180 days , next day we get a call back saying they made a mistake begging forgiveness was some european services paypal manager of some sort we already had the perosnal manager at paypal already by then 50k plus it is for that.Anyway so 180 days was overturned the following day, even when i speak to paypal now its unheard of to have a 180 days limitation overturned after its placed.

I bank now on my new company ebay 1k a time (1500 usd) a day no problem ever. Stealths different anyway, ive had 2 limitations already for same docs on that id and its a company.
On he stealths id never leave more than 10% of my turnover in there

I know exactly what you mean - have you found a way of shedding the rolling reserve? - It's killing me

Depends what you doing sales but that 150k a month account had to have a rolling reserve after that 180 days hit.The reserve was 7% for some reason then you get it back in 30 days wasent it cant remember.

My main LTD dosent have a reserve and its doing 30-45k a month sales.
