Default Paying eBay fees...

Hi

I had a paypal acc go down a little while back and the ebay acc it was linked to isn't down but needs ebay fees paying. I made a new paypal acc totaly unlinked etc, can I pay the fees with my debit card the new PP acc is linked to??? Im not going to pay the fees with the new paypal because I know that will link , im wondering can I pay with the debit card?? or will ebay/paypal link my card details?.........I heard they dont have access to your bank details so I should be ok to do this??

Any advice will be great cheers!

If the card is already associated with another e/b or p/p account then the answer is no.

Use a vcc

What if my funds are hold for 180 days or so and the fees are over due to pay for EB. What should I do? as my money is stuck with PP. And my PP account was linked for automatic payments to EB.

Should I pay the EB overdue fees or should I just wait until they sort my PP account?

If you need to pay your Ebay fees in the UK you can do it by post. Click on 'make a one time payment' and print off the payment slip.

Go to a post office and buy a postal order and send it in - Worthing I think.

Otherwise as has been said a VCC

But my point is they banned me and put a hold on my funds. As they already have got my funds. Would that be worth saying that I have no money as PP have hold it for 180 days?

No, you have to pay them.

e/b do not have your money p/p does and they won't release it.

But mate reallity is that EB and PP are both same.

When PP suspended me they also suspended me and removed me from EB. IF they don`t have a concern about it they why would EB would remove me!

This is the conundrum

Ebay and Paypal are, in theory, separate companies. Your contract with Ebay has nothing to do with Paypal and your contract with Paypal has nothing to do with Ebay.

Ebay is not the one holding your funds - Paypal is.

Paypal are not interested in your problems with Ebay, just as they wouldn't be interested if you needed the money to pay your mortgage or your electric bill.

Ebay are not interested in your problems with Paypal - they just want their money - they have delivered and now they want you to pay. Problem with Paypal? Too bad - Then find another way to pay us.

Unfair I know but that's just the way it is

No they are not.

As GT says above they are separate and you need to pay your fees or face the consequences.

You were removed from both because you broke their rules.

I don't suppose you ever read the User Agreements?

Just to double to check should you create a new VCC every month to pay ebay fees or can you just create a new one to pay them each month with just the 1 VCC ? So in effect you have VCC in paypal and a VCC in ebay - not used on any stealth accounts is this right?

Only reason i ask is i read a post where it was suggested to create and use a brand new VCC each time you pay fees - is this necessary?

No, you can use the same one. 'Normal' people don't have a new credit card every month
