I don't know the reason, I don't think anyone does.

I do what works for me as you do.

As far as anyone can tell the letter confirmation is randomly applied by e/b when requesting higher selling limits.

Still trying out new methods

SimpleX 07-18-2012 10:03 AM

So other than a letter with code to confirm address, are their any other proven ways of raising limits from 10 to 100?

I don't have access to any stealth's I plan to open so what are my options, as I don't want to lose bank accounts on stealth's that can only provide 10 items per month selling limit...

they_screwed_me_too 07-18-2012 10:19 AM

theres a very simple way to raise the limits to 100 everytime

think outside the box

I never add a card, and i can get 100 selling limit each time.

i think its getting really confusing.

i bet ebay guys reading this thread and have fun about it. :)

That's half the problem, posting this sort of stuff on the open forum.

Too much info for them to work with

But from what i read , you do not take the conventional approach, but if it works it works anything that works is a good thing.

i will give your way a go myself soon :-)

I'm not saying there is not more than one way, there usually is more than one approach, i just know mine works and always has, i just do it like i used to years ago, add card to confirm pp and then add bank account to get micros add to pp attach eby, remove bnk account if savers.

go to eby, always 100 for me, no letters.

NoneOther 07-18-2012 03:27 PM

Same process for me, same result

When was the last time you used this method?

When do you raise the limit beyond £3,500?

Re: Help avoid the 10 items selling limit?

I'm having some issues lifting my selling limits, I have experience with stealth. Always lifting limits to 100/3500 without any issues using personal accounts, now that I'm using savings accounts when I try to lift limits, just get 10/650.

I just got a paypal account fully verified with a savings account. I have my ebay account ready to create the seller account, but it is mentioned that the savings needs to be removed during the process in order to get the 100/3500, can somebody help me with this part.

where exactly I need to remove the savings in order to get the limits lifted? And once I get the 100/3500 limits can I add again my savings to my paypal?
